Why is this happening at 14 weeks??

I get up every night at 3:00 a.m. and CANNOT go back to sleep. I have a lot of energy and almost feel like cleaning the house. This is SO different from the first 3 months when I would go to bed at 8:00 p.m. and sleep through the night. Anyone else experience this?

I am not yet that far along but a good friend of mine who I work with just had her baby girl in july. When she hit her 2nd trimester she had a major case of insomia all the way up to the 3rd trimester, then other issues caused her to stay awake-being uncomfortable, the baby was very active at night etc. She could only sleep a couple hrs a night and couldn't fall back to sleep for nothing. A little did have to do with it that having a baby started to hit them hard, and the planner in her started thinking at night too and the her mind wouldn't stop racing.

I have had episodes of insomnia all throughout my pregnancy - hang in there - it will pass.

something like this happened to me in the beg. I would wake up everynight at the same time, SOOOOO thirsty and SOOOO AWAKE...

It lasted like a month...and then I was fine..

Now Im up all night with NO energy.. but I gotta pee... Im itchy..I cant breathe...

Everyone keeps telling me to sleep up now, because once the baby gets here...they'll be alot of sleepless nights...

I cant help but wonder how Im supposed to do that??

I had a few weeks where I was up in the middle of the night and it took over an hour to get back to sleep!! I'm a sleeper.....I need it, so to be up several times a night was killing me!!

Now, it has seemed to pass....I wake up 1 or 2 times to pee and it still takes a while to go to sleep, but not nearly as long

I had so much insomnia in the beginning it drove me nuts!
