Music for kids
I teach first grade and I always play the Jack Johnson Curious George sound track during handwriting or dismissal, and the kids LOVE it. I was wondering what other songs/music I can play for them that I would actually like listening to also. I want to make a playlist on my i-pod since I have speakers in my classroom. Thanks!

Re: Music for kids
ooh im drawing a blank but I was in a classroom subbing once and there was a cd of songs re-done by rock stars
One of them for example was the imagination song from Willy Wonka by Maroon 5
OOH I found it ....."Mary had a little amp"Mary had a little amp playlist

Re: Music for kids
I highly recommend Dr. Jean - her CD's are educational songs and when I taught Kindergarten my kids LOVED her music. There are several of them, and they deal with all different things from shapes, to weather, to packing up, to lining up - she is AMAZING!
