We went to the doctor on Friday

and it was mostly good news. It turns out that I have a boderline case of PCOS. Which is good news because I had previously been diagnosed with PCOS. So to find out that it's only a boderline case is actually really good news for us. They also determined based on my charts that I do ovulate. So he's treating me with irregular cycles rather then for PCOS. I started Clomid over the weekend and I go back in a week for them to see if I'm close to ovulating. He said that I could actually get pregnant on our own if we don't mind it taking some time. But he said that it would be hard to determine when I'm ovulating if I'm not on Clomid and not being closely monitored. My last cycle was 66 days. If I didn't start the meds than my next cycle could have been even longer. So I figured I'd try it and see what happens.

The only doubt that I'm having right now is if we got pregnant in this cycle my due date would be the same day as my daughter's birthday. I really don't want Kiera to have to have a brother or sister with a birthday a week or so away from her. So I think we're going to way to officially try again until my next cycle. But I started the Clomid because the doctor needs to see if this is going to help get me on a regular cycle.

That's my update. I'm confused about a lot of things right now. I'm wondering if I should just give it some time and see if it happens on our own. But for now I'm taking the Clomid and seeing if that helps regulate me.

I would try the Clomid and see what happens. I wouldn't worry too much about trying right away, either. You might be better off trying and conceiving than having to wait six more months. I wish you lot's of luck!
