Melia Caribe, Punta Cana; Occidental Grand, DR; Riu, Jamaica

Has anyone stayed at any of these places? What was your experience? TIA

We stayed at Melia Caribe and the resort was so beautiful.
My only downfall was that it was TOO big of a resort. We had to take a tram to the beach and restuarants from our room.

We went to Punta Cana and stayed at Sunscape the Beach. The food was horrible, but the resort is very clean. There are tons of kids around.

We stayed at the Couples resort which was between two of the Riu properties in Negril. They were PACKED...Service did not seem to be as attentive as our resort (from what we saw walking down the beach). I highly recommend the Couples resort chain in Jamaica! We've been twice and LOVED both times!

We went to the Occidental Grand, DR, in sept '06 and had a GREAT time! The resort is VERY clean and the pools and beach where great. Food was good, not great but good! There were not too many kids around, but we brought our 1 year old and she had a great time!....I would def recommened it!
