I need help with clothes!
I'm 14 weeks and my clothes are starting to not fit anymore. I don't know if I should just buy some clothes a size up or if I should buy maternity. I think maternity clothes might still be a little big. It's hard because it's in between seasons now and I also go back to work/school tomorrow so I can't get away with some of my casual elastic waist things I have been wearing. Did you go up a size in regular clothes before you bought maternity?

I am also in the same situation! 14 weeks and have tried on some maternity clothes, but they are too big. I think I might go one size up for a little while and then buy maternity.

I ended up buying maternity even though I was in between sizes. Some stuff was too big on me, but I knew I would be growing out of clothes that were a bigger size pretty quick if I bought them.

Re: I need help with clothes!
I went straight into maternity at 10 weeks (bottoms). If you buy clothes a size up, sometimes the proportions go up also, so if you buy pants, the crotch might be lower than what you'd like or a tank tops arm holes might be too big and show your bra.
Try it ALL on...you might find yourself VERY Comfy in some maternity clothes. GAP's maternity is numbered not M/L/XL which might give you a better fit

Re: I need help with clothes!
I did both , I had purchased some regular clothes a bit bigger when they were on sale before and as soon as I got PG, I am still wearing some of the low rise pants. As far as shirts, I found that maternity fit the best because they were long enough to cover the pants.I also purchased the pants belt to extend the waist a bit...it really works, I still wear it and I'm carrying very big.

Re: I need help with clothes!
H&M and Old Navy seem to sell "smaller" maternity clothes. At least that's been my experience. I was too small to fit into most maternity clothes, but these 2 stores fit me. Plus, they're pretty cheap!

Re: I need help with clothes!
I am in the same situation as you. I am 15 weeks as well and spent the weekend on the search for maternity clothes. Becasue of the seasons, I didn't buy anything summery in maternity..just a few things a size up that I could get by in...even though I seem to wear the same thing over and over!
But now I am noticing that I really need maternity...I bought some stuff at Old Navy and H&M...atleast you can return at these places..and tehy are cheap. I hate to buy too much at Motherhood etc and then realize I never wore it because I outgrew it and then I can't return....
I have tons of tops..but NO PANTS!! any suggestion for nice pants??
