Lamaze

At what point did everyone take Lamaze? I asked my doctor at my last appointment-he said we don't have to worry until my next appt October 3rd. I'll be @27 weeks then, which I know sounds like plenty of time, but the lamaze pamphlet he gave me from Good Samaritan said only 9 couples to a class...seems kind of limited.

Re: Lamaze

I called the parent education dept. at Winthrop a few weeks ago (I was about 17 weeks). I told the woman when I was due and she signed me up for the appropriate time. I would call your hospital.

Re: Lamaze

I am getting an epidural but took lamaze anyway (in my 7th month) - I suggest taking it even if you are getting drugs. I learned SO MUCH about the stages of labor and what to expect, baby care, etc... There was so much I didn't know!

This is what my friend said. The breathing wasn't so helpful, but the other info was. I just got nervous when the paperwork he gave me said "class limited to 9 couples". I'm 23 weeks now, almost 27 by the time I go back to him!

Re: Lamaze

so can you call and book it now - take it later? That was what I did - I booked it about 2 months in advance.

Either way don't stress too much - there are a lot of classes out there - so if it isn't this one it will be another one.
