I'm sorry, but if you are a celebrity and are constantly in the spotlight, it is your RESPONSIBILITY to make sure you look good at all times!!!!!!!!

Geez, you make so much $$$$ there is no reason to look otherwise. There are plenty of celebs that look great ALL THE TIME and those are the ones who rarely make the tabloids.....

u honestly expect them to look good all the time just b/c they r celebs and have money, thats ridiculous..

they r pple not machines, and just b/c u have $$ and are famous doesnt mean they r obligated to spend all there money just on looking good..

they r famous b/c of there acting or at least thats SUPPOSED to be the point, not on how they look or dress everyday of the week

totally agree as well. They do NOT have to look good at all times. Perhaps if everybody didn't hold them to such high standards we wouldn't have so many actors with eating disorders to achieve those standards. Oh but then when we wouldn't have anything to talk about. It seems if they gain 5 pounds they are fat but when they succumb to eating disorders to meet "standards" we make fun of them as well. They are people. Flesh and blood. Give them a break.

Then they should all stop complaining that they are in the tabloids for looking like trash and being scrutinized. Celebrities all know that every little thing they do is magnified, and they obviously accept that or they would leave.

I am not saying they should spend all their $$$ looking great, but 30 years ago, did you ever see actors and actresses walking around in bare feet going into gas station bathrooms?

Hollywood is an image and many of them are their own downfall. I didn't say they have to wear a party dress all the time, but have a little respect for yourself and look at least a liiitle put together....

Eh, I don't know, Gina. I think people have the right to be people. Sure, dealing with paparazzi all the time should want to make one look their best, but you can't possibly always look done up. They get caught by surprise often. I mean, I don't agree with walking around without shoes in bathrooms, but if that's the way someone is, then it's his or her choice. I would love to look beautiful all the time, but the fact is, I have my s*it days just like everyone else, rich, middle-class, or piss poor.

I think the amount of money you make should not automatically pre-dispose you to look a certain way BUT if I knew that the papparazzi were around every corner waiting for me to look like sh!t & plaster it all over their rag, I'd give them as few chances as possible to do that. It does seem like some celebs are constantly looking all slop house & then they wonder why the public thinks of them as trash. It sucks, but it is a price for fame. Until the public stops wanting the bad pics, or the paparazzi can be controlled unfortunately that is the way it is.

I think that sometimes they do it on purpose just to spite everyone.

I know after a while I would be like who the f*$k cares!!!

They get ripped apart when they try to look good too...they can't win.

While I totally agree with Michi, Curlie, you have a valid point. If you KNOW the paparazzi is going to follow your every move, wouldn't YOU at least make sure you looked PRESENTABLE????

Like for example the Tara Reid nipple incident. Why oh Why would she not tape that dress to make sure she satyed covered. Any stylist worth their weight would know to do that.

there is no such thing as bad publicity. so long as there name/pic is in the paper, on the news, etc. what do they care what its for?

I think they should look clean...but they don't need to be dressed up all the time.

Like right now, Britney just doesn't look clean. If she washed her hair and wore clothes that fit her she would look normal. I would expect that from a celebrity, especially since she is aware of the paparazzi.

But they are people, and they make mistakes.

I think celebs have a right to dress/look however they want. If they want to go out not looking their best, fine...I do it all the time. However, since they chose a career that puts their professional life in the public eye, they have to accept that people are going to become interested in their private life as well so they need to be able to tolerate a much higher level of scrutiny and criticism. I don't think they "should" dress/look any particular but the way they want to, but they have to know tha tit will affect their image and people will judge them.
