having a tough time today...
my best friend is being induced to have her baby today, and i'm just having a rough time with it. we've been friends since we were 8 years old, and shes the first of my friends to have a baby. i'm soo excited for her, but also just having a rough time knowing that i'll never have that experience ( i have a genetic disorder that prevents me from having children, and because of possible heart and kidney problems, they don't recommend IVF).
thanks for listening... just needed to vent a little bit, since i know you girls will understand...

Does your friend know your situation? If she is a good friend she'll be sensitive, which I know doesn't help how you feel

I am so sorry I think all of us on this board have been in a similar situation at one time or another. It's very hard...sometimes we need to just back away and deal with our emotions before we try to be happy for any one else. If shes your good friend I'm sure she will understand how you feel and respect that.
