New Hope Fertility
Hi girls. I haven't been on the boards in a while mainly because I screwed something up in my LIF account and could no longer log in with my old username (Tannika). I've got to FMl Ron to see if I can get it reinstated.
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone on here goes to New Hope Fertility, and/or if anyone is taking Estrace as part of their protocol. My first two cycles yielded empty follicles so Dr. Zhang has said he is putting me on "stronger" meds this cylcle. I'm feeling really weird on Estrace. Anyone else?

Donna (screen name Donna) cycled at New Hope. But, she doesn't come on the boards so often these days. Perhaps you can do a search on her name and see if any of her old posts have info -- or send her an FM....
I didn't have any side effects from Estrace...

I think I have posted before, that my dr. uses New Hope for retrevials and transfers.
It is really nice there. I do know that Zhang has a different approach to IVF and concentrates on 1-2 really high quality eggs on extended clomid cycles.
When I did my last retrevial (jan 16) there was a woman who had a retrevial of one egg with no anethesia! I was floored. This was her second cycle with Zhang and her first yeilded a baby boy.

Thanks so much. This is my third cycle with Dr. Zhang and I'm hoping this time works. Insurance won't cover any more additional cycles.

Can I ask why you are doign mini-IVF? I dont think the regular one is too much more invasive. Will your insurance cover regular IVF if this fails?

I cycled at New Hope, the estrace didn't really bother me that much, I felt better on that than the other injectable IVF meds I've taken previously in the past.

i had been wondering about you tannika!
i took estrace, but with a lot of other ivf medicines, so i don't really know if it affected me-sorry.
