Bam gets married
Jackass prankster Bam Margera has married his childhood friend, his rep confirms to PEOPLE.
On Saturday, the 27-year-old professional skateboarder and MTV star exchanged vows with Missy Rothstein, 26, in downtown Philadelphia before about 350 friends and family members – and an MTV crew, which recorded the event for his reality show, Bam's Unholy Union, the Associated Press reports.
The wedding celebration included a performance by Iggy Pop, as well an appearance by fellow skateboarder Tony Hawk. The wedding will be shown in the final episode of Bam's Unholy Union in early April.
Margera (who was once reportedly linked to Jessica Simpson) and Rothstein got engaged last January while shopping at the Cartier store in the King of Prussia Mall, according to a recent story in the New York Times. Rothstein tried on an engagement ring that happened to fit her perfectly – and Margera proposed on the spot.
"I was like, 'Now's the time,' " Margera told the Times. "We just sat there and drank three bottles of Champagne. Then we forgot to get gas on the way home, and we straight up ran out of gas on Route 202."
The couple have known each other since the sixth grade. After being out of touch for a while when they were both involved in other relationships, Margera and Rothstein got back together two years ago.
"I love his spontaneity, even though it drives me crazy sometimes," Rothstein said. "I'd be bored if he was normal like everyone else."
The couple will honeymoon in Dubai.

Maybe the reason they forgot to get gas, was due to the 3 bottle of champagne they had just drank.

I agree with this. Sure he's crazy, but she seems to calm him down a bit. They're good for each other.

it's the taste of celebrity that does it-
who the heck knew who Shanna Monklier was before there reality show? so she was Miss USA 10 years ago- not a household name by any means
MTV is 3 for 3 now- so this is the 4th wedding show- alot of other celebrity couples turned them down- including Christina and Jordan

I dont think I would turn down all of that $ just because of a "curse" thats dumb. I dont think it has anything to do with MTV or the fact that they had a show. If you are going to last, you will last with or without a show on MTV.

I dont think he needs money either, I was saying that I wouldnt turn it down.
But to say there is a curse, I think is silly. I think Nick and Jessica are the only ones who may have gotten divorced because of the show. But thats it.

I blame MTV for Nick and Jessica's break up. Their show gave Nick the opportunity to look back and see what an moron his wife was I think she actually annoyed Nick...sad to say but I think it is true! Just based on my own observation of the show of course.
Why did Carmen and Dave break up?
Also, Travis and Shanna? I don't even know why.
