double snap n go stroller frame
i know there have been many posts about strollers, but i'm still really confused.
if you have the baby trend double snap n go, what car seats do you have for it? are you happy with it?

I have the double snap n go and I use the Graco Snug ride seats with it. I HIGHLY recommend getting one ... it's so light and easy to manage for the first few months before having to transition to a real stroller.

I have the snap and go and have peg perego seats. I think you can use any seats. The bars on the stroller are moveable. I like it because it has a big basket and cup holders. Good Luck!

Except the Graco SafeSeat - which is what I have!

why? is it that you didn't like what you used instead?
thank you ladies for all your responses. i'm totally confused by all the choices out there.
my current thinking (at least for today ) is that i won't get the snap and go, because i'm getting the maclaren twin techno stroller which (supposedly) fully reclines. and registering for convertible car seats that won't come in and out of the car. so both the car seats and the maclaren stroller will stay with them from newborn to toddler. am i way off or is this possible, not to have a seperate newborn/infant only car seats and stroller?

If I had to do it all again this is what I would have done: -Gotten a Graco Snugride -Snap 'n Go - so light and so easy popping the Snugrides in and out -A side by side stroller as well for when they're older...I'm buying it now, but I regret not putting it on my registry!
You said you are not getting the car seats that come in and out of the car- any reason why? It's so easy to pop the carriers out, rather than unbuckling 2 babies, and buckling them into the stroller, then when you want to get back into the car doing it all over again. Also, think of when you get home, you can pop one out, then pop the other and carry both carriers, rather than carry a baby while trying to get the other one out. Just some food for thought...good luck!

Re: double snap n go stroller frame
IMHO, I think you'll regret not getting the infant seats/ snap and go. One of the benefits of the infant seats is that you can buckle them in in the house and (if you are strong) carry them both to the car. Also, when they all asleep, you don't have to disturb them. It is much easier to lift out the seats and snap them in the frame when running errands then to continuously have to unbuckle, rebuckle, etc. Again, JMO

I agree. My boys are approaching the limit of the infant carrier seats and I'm upset just thinking about how much MORE difficult it'll be to use the convertible seats. Especially when the babies are young, you'll feel so much more freedom if you just can pack them up and take them on the go - you can eat in restaurants more easily, shopping w/o disturbing their sleep, etc. Honestly, it's worth registering for them and if you get them, you're set!

Re: double snap n go stroller frame
ok, you ladies brought up many points that i didn't think about, like if i'm alone, how would i carry two babies out of the house and strap them into car seats at the car.
i see the importance now, so would you recommend putting ALL of these things on the registry? that would be 2 infant car seats, 2 convertible car seats, 1 maclaren stroller, 1 snap and go stroller. it seems like a lot!!!
thank goodness for you ladies-your opinions are the best and are so helpful!!!
thanks all!
eta: i think my main hesitation was that i don't have a minivan, just a four door car and that it may be hard to take 2 seats in/out of the back seat. and since, the maclaren can recline, what's the point of the extra stroller, but i do see the points about carrying the babies in the infant seats.

The frame of the snap n go easily fits into any car... that's the beauty of it!

using the infant carriers into the snap and go has a benefit, because you don't need to disturb them to take them out of the seat and into the stroller. You just click them out of the base and click into the snap and go. Very easy. One day by peg perego frame broke (like the snap and go, we actually have both-one for each car) and it was a pain- getting them out of the infant carrier and into the stroller and the stroller to the infant carrier. It was TOO MUCH moving.

I would register for them all. You'll need themall at some point and you'll be shocked at how generous people are! I didn't register for the convertible car seats and regret it now. Luckily, I still have gift cards from when they were born that I can use towards them.

Re: double snap n go stroller frame
I was going to register for the double snap and go and one of the moms at DD school had friends with twins that gve it to her to give it to me... so now i am going to make the money I would have spent on that and get two new infant seats...
I totally think this is a must have .. it was for one...
