Ever notice that Pet Stores cater to dogs mostly? (no attn to cats)
Dont get me wrong, we love dogs too, just can't see fitting one into our lives in such a small space with three cats
Still I notice a depressing lack of attention to kitty items in all Pet stores.
Even boutique type places have maybe only a basket of cat toys and that's it.
I know a cat can't wear sweaters, but they love to play and I find it annoying we get three small aisles in Petsmart and that includes food and selection is always bare. I just want to find a cool collar for my kittens without that stupid safetycat clip (my cats all destroy those). Instead, I goto the dog section and by 'toy' dog collars. More selection!!
Ok not venting really just sharing my annoyance
PS: I'm really just a little annoyed I can only find "El Gato" catnip cigars at a small store and it's $8 a cigar

I would agree. I don't have a cat, but the aisles for cat items is significantly smaller. I buy most of my stuff online for my dogs anyway. It is annoying to not have that option to see things in the store though.

Another poster reminded me of something - there are no 'kitty hotels'. Not that I'd leave my kitty at one of these places but it would be nice to have an option that is just for kitties, since I dont think many kitties care for dogs barking all the time.
Anyone want to open a business with me? We can cater just to cats!

Well, I kind of think that's because dogs tend to be more active & playful than cats...so therefore there is more out there for them. JMO.
