Had My HSG
I went for my HSG test last week and the results were good. It wasn't as bad as I had heard--like strong cramps, but that passed quickly. Though I think people have different reactions to this test.
So, we had all of our basic fertility tests and the results were normal for all of them. I should feel good about this, and mostly I do, but I keep wondering why we haven't had a baby then?
Oh well. We need to see an RE--maybe that visit will shed more light on this.

Re: Had My HSG
When I first started all the testing, I would go into an appointment thinking, "NOW I'll have some answers." And I always left more perplexed than before as to why we weren't pg yet.
Then I sort of accepted that each appointment and test is a step towards an answer and a BFP. Doesn't make the lack of definitive answers any easier but at least I lowered my expectations so I didn't leave each and every appt upset.
Stay strong and good luck!!

Re: Had My HSG
This is a tough road, but you are doing the right thing. The RE should be able to give you more info. Good luck!

Re: Had My HSG
I'm glad that your test went well and it wasn't too painful for you. It is tough not to be given an exact reason why you are not getting pregnant. Go see an RE and they may be able to shed more light as you say. I know it is tough but try to stay positive. Good luck and I hope you get you BFP soon

Re: Had My HSG
It's good that you're exploring all the avenues and I'm glad the HSG didn't hurt, it only hurt for a minute with me, too.
Good luck to you!

Re: Had My HSG
Thanks for all of your wonderful responses! It's great to have support in this.
Don't get me wrong--I am happy that all of our basic equipment seems to be functioning just fine. It's frustrating at times though to not know what is wrong. But I guess as many of you pointed out, we are doing something about it.
Thanks again--your comments made my day!
