My meds are being delivered today!
The only one i am nervous about is the progesterone. I know my DH will chicken out doing It. so I will probally have to do it myself or go to one of my coworkers house for them to give it to me (esp since they are all nurses too!)

Yay!
Honestly Amy I was terrified of the progesterone, and my DH is famous for passing out whilst having blood taken - he is very scared of needles. It really isn't that bad, I warm the bottle of oil a little in a bowl of warm water first to thin it . At least you don't have to look at the needle! My Dh still gets the heebee geebees but he does it. You'll both be fine! Good luck!

Yeah, it's very intimidating. As far as the progesterone - he'll get it. My DH was squeamish at first, but now I think he gets a secret thrill out of it.
Definitely warm the oil beforehand and take a warm damp cloth and hold it against your butt before and after the shot...I totally didn't feel the shots that way.

Honestly, I thought the same about DH and instead he became into it, like his duty ...LOL...There were a few times I would cry out and the next day he would be anxious about it, but he made it through ...
And of the 8 weeks I did the shots, I only had a handful of painful ones. At the beginning they were a breeze.

I think DH enjoyed it too -- he felt a little like the Mad Scientist...!

Thanks everyone! I definately could do the shot myself if only i could reach behind me. I am a pro At this but not on myself. DH is a total whimp when it comes to anything with needles! He starts sweating even before he sees a needle. Kara I might have to take you up on this!! I just paid for my meds Whoa and i paid 50% of the cost with my insurance. Talking about Expensive

Geez, and I was nervous doing the injections for the IUI -- I didn't realize so many drugs come for the IVF! Good luck to you. Just remember, it'll be worth it in the long run!

It's really not that hard to give it to yourself. Nurses can do anything!
I found it easier to twist and shoot myself then deal with DH's hesitation - Then again, I DO have a very ample bootie, so that may have helped!
