How to tell DH

Did anyone plan a special way to tell DH about BFP?

My first time I was so shocked that I just pointed to the bathroom when DH woke up and asked if I took the test. If I ever become PG again, I really need to think of a better way to tell him.

My sister found out the week after Father's Day and decorated the house with Father's Day balloons and gave her then DH his first ever FD card.

I have thought about it but haven't' come up with anything too spectacular. I thought about having the waitress bring out pickles and ice cream for dessert or hang baby clothes in his closet. I also thought about getting some baby clothes and putting them on the dogs so when he comes home and they greet him, they would be dresses up like little babies.

I was going to buy him an "I Love Daddy" bib but, in the excitement of the moment at 5am when I got a BFP I ran into the bedroom, flipped on the light and shoved the HPT at DH's face and said "NOW can you see 2 lines?!" (Because I was getting faint BFPs and he kept saying "I can't see a second line" and it was driving me nuts!).

When I first got my BFP, I went to party city and got a dozen pink "It's a Girl!" balloons and a dozen "It's a Boy!" balloons. I scattered them all over the bedroom ceiling. Whenh DH got home from work and opened the BR door, He got the surprise of his life. I'll never forget seeing the tears form in his eyes!

He loves getting presents...so most likely I will wrap up something for him to open.

i would get something for him and let him open it to see it. But i hope i won't be to excited and ruin it.

I've never really thought about it...I'm just to excited thinking about getting prego! LOL I don't think I could keep it a secret long...

I once saw in a movie that this girl made all baby foods for dinner (baby carrots, etc...) and just hinted with all baby stuff.

I havent really thought of a way to tell DH, Im hoping hes home when I take the test. Most likely he will be because I get to leave 1st in the AM.
I have thought about how to tell my parents, inlaws etc....I LOVE the M&M idea and I just may do that when the time is right!
I may be too excited though, and knowing me I will be on the phone or taking a drive to my parents house...

when that time comes i think i will be buying blue and pink balloons than i am going to make a nice dinner with baby carrots everything that says baby on it. than after that i will buy him a card saying you are going to be a daddy! but i wont have to worry about that till next august!

I keep a scrapbook for us so took a pic of the preg test and made a page that said "We're having a baby!" It was right around our dating anniversary so perfect reason for me to bust out the book and make him look at it with me and now we'll always have that page as our moment

GREAT ideas. I lways wanted to tell him in a cool way, but being that it has been a long journey, I think I would just call him out of excitement
