spinoff...to how old was your baby....

I noticed alot of us started taking the babies out around 2 weeks and then the other majority was 6 + weeks.

And it seems to me that the summer babies get out at 2 weeks and the winter ones (and I can totally understand why) take a few extra weeks.

Is that a true assumption...

For example: Jack 5/23 and about 2 weeks.

I would think that to be probably mostly true. Although, I was one of the exceptions. Jake is a summer baby and he wasn't out until 6 weeks. But for me that's because DH freaked me out with the whole if they get sick before 8 weeks it's a mandatory spinal tap and 3 days in the NICU.

Yes, Sarah was born 2/22 and we waited 8 weeks. For the same reasons, the whole spinal tap thing really freaked me out. But I had a wicked case of cabin fever by week 6....

Both of my kids I waited till they were at least 4 weeks old till I took them out and even then it was only to my parents or the IL's or something...I didn't start taking them to stores till about 2 months....

ETA - Mallory was a winter baby, Jordan was born in Florida

Marissa was born 9/2/04 and I took her out at like 2 weeks and that was only afte a visit to the doctors office and I asked if I can take her out places and he said yes you can take her to the stores and restaurants jsut don't let strangers touch her and FH and I went straight to target and trust me every stranger that came close to her I told them not to touch her and I did get looks from them but I didn't care.
