When does the..
Weekly apt.'s, Internals..and stress tests begin...
What will be going on at the next few apt.s.. Im 34 weeks..???

I can't really help because of the bleeding I have been having and because I have gestational diabetes I am now going once a week to have a nonstress test and a sono..

I think weekly's begin at 36 weeks.
Internals depend on your doctor. Some do them and some don't.
As far as I know stress tests are not standard unless you are overdue or their is concern about the baby.

This pretty much covers it. One thing to add is the GBS test ( a swab will be taken) at around 36 weeks.

Let's just say I call it the bum swab. Somehow that's how it was told to me. They swab both areas, stick it in a tube and send it off to the lab.

I was swabbed for the strep at my first visit, then again today at 24 weeks and they told me again at 36 weeks.. They didnt swab both areas on me, just my hoo hoo...

my weekly's started at 37 weeks and my strep b was @ 35 weeks (but it was just like a pap - nothing more...no add'l areas )

I had the strep test at 36 weeks - (when they started the internals) and again yesterday at 40 weeks (it's only good for a month)

At 34 weeks I started my NST, BPP and got my first internal this week at 35 weeks.
I get the NST and BPP every week because of my GD, but basically the BPP is just a quick ultrasound. They check the baby's size, lungs, heart, tone and they check it for movement.
The NST just means you'll be hooked up to the fetal monitor for about 20-30 minutes and everytime you feel the baby move you have to press a little clicker button and it notates it on the printout, to see how your baby reacts to "stress."
And the internal was NOT that bad at all. It's basically kinda like a pap but I didn't even feel as much as you do with a pap.
