ww advice re: plateau?
Hi everyone!
I have been doing ww for several weeks now trying to take off my pregnancy weight. I had been losing well (slowly but surely) but for the last week and a half I have literally not lost an ounce!!
Does anyone have any advice on how to jumpstart the weightloss again? I have been pretty religious about following points and I excercise almost everyday - any help is appreciated!!

Re: ww advice re: plateau?
You could try 2 things:
Switching plans core to flex or flex to core for a number of weeks.
You could try Dotties plan-add up all your points for the week and distribute them unevenly so 40 points on Mon., 22 points on Tues, 30 points on Wed, etc.

Re: ww advice re: plateau?
just dont give up! I gained one week... then lost only .8, then this week I finally lost over a pound! it isnt a lot, but it is still something... sometimes when you dont have A LOT to loose it just takes a little longer...
have you been having your milk products??

Re: ww advice re: plateau?
Someone above mentioned dottie's plan of distributing points unevenly. Actually there is a plan called the Wendie Weight Loss Plan that you can do a google search for that uses ww points but it tells you specifically how to distribute your points for each day. You give a super high point day as far as possible away from your weigh in day (ex if you weigh in on sunday do it on monday) and it helps your body to constantly have to readjust its metabolism by giving you varying point ranges for each day.
Before getting pregnant I lost 63 lbs on weight watchers and did use the wendie plan to get me through plateaus. You have to do it for 2-3 weeks but it really works!

Re: ww advice re: plateau?
sometimes u just need to trick your body b/c its getting used to what you've been doing...i'm not saying to go off your diet or pig out but maybe don't follow it as closely for a day or 2 and then go right back to it
