Outdoor cat help

My MIL has often spayed/neutered outdoor cats. The last time there was a litter, she spent several hundred dollars. There are new cats, and she wants to spay and neuter them but not spend as much money. Anyone know a Suffolk County reasonable place to spay/neuter outdoor cats?
