WOW - Spin Class
I have not taken a spin class in about 2 years. I have to stop running so much so I am taking spin 1x a week. Well today was my frist and that class kicked my butt!
I can run a marathon...but never sweat as much as I did in spin today. Seriously rung out my tank!
Any other spinners??

I go spinning twice a week usually (although I've missed a couple of weeks). It definitely kicks your butt but I love that hard workout feeling when I'm finished.

I tried it once and NEVER again... I couldnt walk for a week... and my crotch hurt SOOO bad from that damn seat!!

I take 4 spin classes a week. I love it. It is by far the best cardio work out for me personally. I run on the treadmill 2 days a week but the spin classes are really the best.

6:00am tomorrow morning...Ughhh I better go to bed.
I want to take this class every Tuesday morning!
I am not sore from Sundays class should I make the tension harder on hills and such now??

I did another class this morning and I find that I am walking around a bit funny. 
It feels good though...using muscles I don't normally use during running.
Question...is the room you are in when spinning warm or am I just sweating like a man??

Don't be nervous...do what you can...you have complete control over the resistance. I am sure my resistance is not as tough as some of these hard core spinners in the class!!
I mean they have special shoes and all!

i used to teach spin classes and im still certified to! its completely addicting!!! let me know if you have any questions, my suggestion is to get a heart rate monitor, its amazing the difference between how hard you think your working and how hard you really are working!

i used to teach at NYSC, so for there you had to be a member of the gym, ill see if i can find any SPIN studios that just do spinning and not a full service gym
