i want to do something different when i color my hair this time, i usually go for the darkest brown...so dark it almost looks black. i dont want to go any lighter than dark brown but i want to add some kind of highlights. can anyone recommend anything? any websites, or pic posts so i can get ideas? thanks guys!

Re: hair color
I have dark brown hair and highlighted the heck out of my hair for years. I'm slowly going back to my natural color. My colorist started to blend lows and highs together, and now I mostly get lows with only a few thin highs blended in. I can def. see the difference b/t the lows and highs.
Perhaps you can ask your colorist to put some lowlights in. If your hair is very dark, highlights will stand out a lot. If your looking for a gradual change, low lights might be better.
