Re: tingling fingers
yes, I get that a lot even now (40+ weeks pregnant) I read in a few books that it is normal and nothing to be concerned with.

Re: tingling fingers
My fingers were hurting when I would open and close my hands. I asked my doc about it and he said that it is very common and that sometimes the fingers even go numb.

Re: tingling fingers
I had that too in both hands. The doctor suggested I wear a brace- I tried the brace- I would rather deal with the tingling. It's pregnancy induced carpal tunnel or so that's what he said to me. Nothing to worry about went away as soon as the baby came out.

Re: tingling fingers
I'm 31 weeks and i have been feeling pain in my hands for the last two weeks, specially when I wake up. I heard that it is carpal tunnel syndrome and is because of fluid retention.

Re: tingling fingers
Yup it's carpal tunnel and it's awful The pain wakes me up at night. I have it in both hands but worse in my right. My doc said it's perfectly normal and unfortunately will only get worse. He recommended I buy wrist splints, which I did. They helped me a lot but they don't take the pain away completely.

Re: tingling fingers
I had it too in my first pregnancy, not looking forward to it again. Its a form of carpel tunnel. I didn't do much for it, but thankfully it went away.

Re: tingling fingers
I've had the numb/tingly fingers since I was about 20 weeks (I am now 34). I used to wake up in the middle of the night and have to shake my hands they were so numb.
