This I totally like and plan to get.
The first one is what I'd wear to ballet class - I couldn't wear it as part of my 'real' clothes.

omg - I was trying to describe these to some people at work last week and no one knew what I was talking about
Those bodysuits look like a yeast infection waiting to happen!

I had a royal purple velour one when I started dating DH in 1992!! Oh man....did I think I was hot in that thing!!
Now......my tummy would hang over.....so no way
ETA....OK I admit I had more then the purple velour one I had them in all sorts of colors! I would wear them with tight jeans & a vest over them ( a la Brenda in Beverly Hills 90210)

I loved them in HS ! I don't have an issue with the style, but I don't have the waist for that any more. 
I agree, they definitely would not look the same on me now as they did back then!
