Depends on what your goal is. Mine is to burn calories and fat so I do cardio first and then weights. I also get too fatigued after weight lifting so I need all my energy for my runs and spin...

Could not have said it better myself!
When I train clients I tell them to do cardio after they meet with me, because I want their full strength. However I also give my clients the choice of strength vs endurance training, depending on races they might have coming up and such.
It actually takes less energy to do cardio than strength, but I know I physically am too tired to do my cardio afterwards.

I don't know the "right" way to do it, but I always do cardio first. If I do weights first then I have no energy left for cardio.

I think it's personal preference. I almost always do weight training first...........and that never tires me to do cardio afterwards. Its just my routine.
I've done cardio first just a few times to get it out of the way. I'm also not too tired after cardio to weight train either but I HATE the fact that I'm all sweaty when using the weights. Even though I wipe everything, it grosses me out.
I like to finish off by sweating my a$$ off, then leaving.

Me too! I am a sweaty pig after I do my cardio and I hate walking around the gym w/ all the guys staring you down while looking so gross!
Therefore, I do weight-training 1st, cardio 2nd.

Weight training first. ALWAYS. Then cardio.
You need to understand that weight training helps you lose fat even more so than cardio.
And the reason for doing weights first is that if you do cardio first, you'll be fatigued and won't be able to lift as well as if you were fresh.
I would only do cardio first if I were training for a marathon, or some other endurance event. But if you're looking to lose weight, focus on weights, then cardio.

the only way I lose weight is if I follow the way my trainer had told me....cardio for 1/2; weights for 1/2 an hour - 45 min and the another 1/2 an hour of cardio....
the last 1/2 an hour is where you lose more weight...your muscles are tired and you burn more fat.
