Here's a question for all you moms....

I guess Im just at that I want this to be over soon stage...So Im looking to reassure myself.. my little prince will be here sooner than later..

Did anyone notice any correlation to what your baby measured in sonograms to when you gave birth?

For instance... Since my 1st sono..Ive always measured 1 week and a couple days before my due date.. the DR never changed my due date cuz of it...because it dosent necessarily mean anything... but the date I told them was my last period (I totally picked outta a hat...I have no idea...and thats how they set my EDD)

Basically- Im just hoping that this means my baby is coming a week earlier than expected..lol

Anyone else..measure further along during the pregnancy...and how did it relate to your EDD..and when you actually gave birth..

Does my rambling make sense..lol???

The only time the doctor changed his mind was in the beginning. At first he told me I was due on June 4th and then he told me June 2nd. It really wasn't a big deal ( two days ). A lot of women lately are having their first baby late....I was 11 days late.

Hang in there...I know you're tired and totally stressed out...all you want is that little baby out of you. I was very emotional at the end and felt the same way as you do. It's coming soon....keep walking....

I consistantly measured ahead (a week or two) on all my sonograms. I never went early, I was induced 3 days AFTER my due date. My daughter was just large so thatrs why I measured ahead.

I was always measuring a week ahead according to the ultrasounds. My EDD according to my LMP was supposed to be 7/5/05 but they moved up my due date after the 2nd sono to 6/28. I knew they were wrong. I was induced on 7/5 and he was born 7/7.

No correlation. My sonos always measured the edd to be within a day or two of my due date per my last period. I went three weeks early. The baby always measured above average but not too much bad but I had GD so that was to be expected.

At my last sono (24weeks) they told me the baby was measuring approx 2 weeks ahead of sched. but the dr never changed my due date. I'll have another next week (if I don't deliver by then!) so we'll see what he says...I'd love to go a little early too but they say it could just be a big baby

I always measured bigger, and I was 8 days late.


but I think its just that I have a big kid. and it started in utero

The doctor originally told me I was due August 30th then after the sonogram told me that I was due September 2nd

I always measured bigger and they never changed the date-- he was 2 days early and big- 9lbs10 oz
