I think I FINALLY OVULATED!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok as most of you know, I hadnt been getting my period or ovulating for quite some time. I started metformin almost a month ago and got what I guess was af last Monday. After talking to a friend, she told me to test on day 9 for ovulation and I did last night with a clear blue stick. I almost passed out when I saw the little smiley face staring back at me...I was ovulating!!!!!!
This morning, I took another ovulation test but I used the target brand this time and nothing. I tested again early evening and still nothing. What do you think this means? Do you think yesterdays' results were a "fluke?" Or has anyone had this happen before? Maybe target brand isnt the best???? Anyone??

Hopefully you ovulated ! You can't really be sure unless you are temping. Unfortunately, many women with pcos get LH surges throughout their cycle. However, on a more positive note, metformin is an excellent medication, that helps so many women ovulate.

Even though I wasnt getting a period for the longest, I was taking ovulation tests randomly just to make sure I wasnt ovulating. I never got a surge or anything else in the past so I would like to believe that the Metformin is already starting to work. I just wonder why today the target brand gives me negative results.?

Well a surge can just last for a short period. You can get a surge one day, and then the next it's negative. I would definitely bd ! How how is your cervix and what is your cm like ??? Both are big indications of O. You can go to Rsofny in 7 days to confirm ovulation by taking a progesterone bloodtest. Are you temping ?

No cm...even back when things were ok, I hardly got any at all. My next appt is October 11th with Dr. Saketos and she said she didnt think that seeing me before that would do any good, she wanted the met to get in my system first. We will just BD anyway..what can it hurt? LOL
