I use a brush for the powder ones and my finger for the creamy ones.

me too.
but.. for some reason, the other day, i used an applicator, and i felt like it put alot more on and made it stand out better (i use very light colors, so i almost feel like its completely unnoticeable sometimes).

I use honestly use like 4 brushes for my eyes  its my art

I do both - applicator to put on the colors and brush to blend all together

I use a bunch of different angled brushes. I usually throw out the applicators.
