Almost knocked down by a group of students today!!!!!!!!

I teach 6th grade in nyc schools. So today after my second periood class i was free so i am walking down the hall and as usuall a "herd " of students come running down the hallway. i happened to stop to talk to a tecaher who was standing in her doorway and BOOM i get whacked in the back. It felt like someone punched me in the back so hard, it literally knocked the wind out of me. I of course started crying from the shock.I know thsi was atotal accident but still!
I immeduiatley went in to the teachers room who i was speaking with and we called security and the deans i fiilled out an accident report and went to the nurse I had no bruise. Actually whats weird is that even though i got hit in the back i took such a deep breateh when i got hit that my chest hurt more than anyting ( if that makes sense). So i cant identify them becasue there were soo many of them. The deans are "looking in to it " but really they have so many other "more important" issues to deal with. I am not making a big deal but i thank god i wasnt pregnant when this happened!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This happened to me a few weeks ago. I was walking by a stair well and this 6th grade girl who was running out completely blew into me. My whole side of my body was sore. was super peeved and she looked at me like "oops." There is no discipline, so nothing stops them.
