Dr Rosenfield or Dr Cohen -North Shore

Hello -

I am new to this board. Unfortunatley I have mc'd twice and I am currently pregnant but my levels are too low so the dr wants me to wait it out. He recommended I( go to Dr Rosenfield or Dr Cohen at North Shore. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with either dr or had an RE that deatt with recurrent mcs that you really liked. Thanks so much for your help!

they are both excellent Dr's.

I like Dr. Rosenfeld's Bedside manner more if I had to choose...but I knwo some people felt the opposite.

Dr. Cohen did my IVF transfer and was great and treated me very well.

Honeslty..I think they both work together so much, they are on the same page. And if one if out that day, you will see the other anyway.

I completely agree that Dr. Cohen's bedside manner is not the greatest. However he knows what he's talking about and he is a great Dr. and you will see both Dr's either way.

I would have to agree with Donna. I love Dr. Rosenfeld, he is very nice. Dr. Cohen is nice he also did my transfer & explained everything very clearly.

Although I see another RE at NSUH I did see dr. Rosenfeld when my RE wasn't available and he was very nice.
I'm in the same boat as you. I'm currently PG and my levels are low as well. My progesterone was a 6 last Thursday and I insisted on the progesterone suppositories. Tomorrow I'm getting my levels checked again and praying they go up. Although I don't think they did since my breasts are not sore also I just don't feel PG.

Please keep me posted, are you on the suppositories?

I saw Dr. Rosenfeld for my Lapro. He's a great doctor!
