Bit of a worisome day...
I had a tiny little scare today, certainly nothing as bad as some of you have had. I know there are women on here who've had a lot of complications, so I'm thankful it was just a tiny scare.
At work after lunch I went to the bathroom and I had a little bit of bleeding. I'm 36w5d and haven't bled at ALL since January, so you could imagine it freaked me out. I went up to my school nurse (I'm a teacher) and told her and she said call my doctor, so I did, and he wanted me to come right in. I left work early, and went to my dr's. He said he's not too concerned because it's only like spotting, not major bleeding, and it could be from the braxton hicks contractions I've been having in combination with the mild cramping I'm having with them (he said they get more crampy the closer to your due date) and also because I had an internal exam last night. He said to just go home and rest and let him know if it gets worse or if the cramping increases.
So all seems to be okay. Baby's HB was nice and strong. It just worried me like you wouldn't believe!!!

Awww Melissa, that wouldve scared me to DEATH..
PLlease rest this weekend...and keep your feet up...maybe your little one wants to make a surprise arrival :)

It was definately scary. I'm glad the doctor thinks everytihng is alright.
Now I feel like I'm sore down there, kind of achy, and not like the normal pressure I feel down there. Could it just be from the two internals in two days?

When I had my 1st internal..I was told that some spotting could be expected...so Im gonna say yes...
Could you have lost your plug "the bloody show"?

I didn't have any mucus, it was just like some bright red blood. So I don't think it was my plug, although I wish because I want to just have this baby SOON and not have to wait and then have a c-section!
