It's begun...I'm insane.
So, a friend of mine who was due the day after me gave birth this morning. I know I'm still a week away from my due date - but the wait is driving me NUTS! I want to meet my froggie!!!!!!! How do I stop thinking about it? Every minute I'm consumed with - is my water going to break now? is this contraction THE ONE? I squat - I walk - I've been TRYING to jump DH but he's terrified since the dr said the baby's head is RIGHT THERE. I'm off to get super spicy eggplant for lunch. Where's the straight jacket???

We have nothing for a girl. He likes traditional - I like a little different. For a boy it'll be Joseph after DH's grandfather. And again - we can't find a middle name we both like. The poor kid won't have a name until the day he/she's coming home!

OH I totally know how you feel. The entire week before I was due I did everything to get labor going. Ate eggplant parm, would practically rape DH, tried to drive over speed bumps, jumped on the treadmill and ran... yes ran for 30 minutes. At one point, I became so desperate DH and I found ourselves in Rite Aid looking for castor oil. DH persuaded me not to take it and we finally walked out. I cried every single day and was so incredibly depressed. I wanted the baby here yesterday and hours and minutes eeked by. Every contraction, movement, time I went to the bathroom... I was convinced this is it! Oh, do I know how you feel. I was a bonafide nutjob!!!

I know it's SO not common to go early w/ your first....it's just driving me nuts that I can't think about ANYTHING ELSE Thanks girls...at least I feel better knowing I'm not the only one
