HELP! Need to do a presentation for an interview (trainer position)

I had a phone interview today for a training position and they asked me to do a 15 minute presentation, either functional (how to use word, or powerpoint for example) of soft skills (orienting them to something new). I am leaning towards going the soft skills route but am not sure what to do... I have until 3/23. Can anyone help??? Any ideas would be appreciated!!

I would probably lean towards soft skills, too. I find those are easier to get the audience involved - which for me is easier than straight lecturing.
I can give you some notes from my interview or networking workshops, if those would help.
What setting is it?

I've had to do this several times for test prep.

The first time I did "How to write an essay" the 2nd time I did "How to take a good photograph" and I was sucessful both times.

I've also seen'heard

How to score bowling
How to factor a polynomial
How to fix your cellphone after it was dropped in a glass of beer (I kid you not.,..and he got the job!)
How to make a fortune teller, etc

I think in these cases, WHAT you teach si not nearly as important as presentation. TIMING is usualy essential, so as close as you can get it to the goal, is the best, being engaging, and picking something that you can either teach all of within the time frame (like the fortunte teller or scoring bowling), or if it's a bigger thing (like the essay or the photographs) picking a distinct chunk of it that can be very clearly taught in that time.

What are you good at? Don't obsess too much about WHAT to teach, but rather pick something and spend the time really practicing those presentation skills! Best of luck

Its for Bed, Bath and Beyond. I was thinking of doing a welcoming thing, telling a little about the company and then discussing teamwork... or is that not a "soft skill"? I am a little unclear of what that actually is I think...
