Who hates their Graco Monster...opps I mean stroller.

Hey, don't get me wrong if Jack was still in his infant seat I think I would still be happy and well since we live so close to the water I keep my beach stuff in my trunk so when it's all together I just have to slam and pray that it closes.

I have an escape so it isn't a big problem, but how do other mom's with cars carry that thing around.

And if you got another stroller what did you get? I don't want to break the bank and don't get me wrong I love my monster as well. I'm able to use it on the beach as well as on lawns and uphills when I go walking it's just traveling with it that is such a PITA especially since now it's wrestle it out of the trunk then get him out of the convertible...

I guess long story short I'm not coordinated yet with having the convertible car seat and not the snug ride infant seat....

Well I had a supposedly lightweight stroller that we got from the baby shower, an eddie bauer but since we live in a fourth floor and we have no elevator, I bough a real lightweight.
It's the Chicco lightweight stroller, I will find a pic.

It's pretty good, it has two three reclining options but not all the way down.
I also think it's good for babies 6 months or older so I'm not sure how old you son is.

I have the Graco Metrolite. I'm getting more used to it, but I agree, putting the carseat into the universal frame was so easy!

I fold it up and put in the trunk. We have a Camry and it folds pretty flat. It takes up a lot of the trunk, but we still have a decent amount of space left around it.

my dad loves it as does my husband, I hate it....i would never use it as a portable stroller to go to the mall with or whatever, it is just to heavy and bulky. I keep it in the garage for the men to use to take her for walks. I bought one from One Step Ahead, that was like $39.99. It is very light like an umbrella stroller, but it has a decent sun visor and a small basket underneath.

It depends on your seat. The Graco Snugride has a height limit of 26 inches, which Sarah reached at 6 months, and a weight limit of *I think* 20 lbs. She's under the weight still, but the doctor told me that if I hadn't already, she needed to be in the convertible seat.

Jack is longer then 26inches already. He'll be 4 months friday when we will find out exactly how much longer he really is. I still keep the snugride seat in the car incase I gotta take him in some place and I need to use a cart. It's still safe for him to be in..just not as a car seat.

Re: Who hates their Graco Monster...opps I mean stroller.

My son grew out of the infant carrier VERY quickly.. and I got a convertible car seat.. and the stroller I got from Wal mart for 30 dollars, and it is awesome.. its by cosco or costco.. and its comparable to light weight name brand strollers... The thing is though, that strollers break, and peel.. and I have been through too many expensive ones-- I learned quickly.. I love it.. And I am 5'11'' and don't have to slouch like an umbrella stroller.. and its got a huge bin underneath and a cup holder that fits EVERYTHING.. If I can find a pic I will post it...
Good Luck!

I found a pic of this one.. this is similar to the one I have.. They no longer carry mine.. Here's the link to the site..
