I heard they made a bunch of changes to the site...but can't log in right now 
Can anyone give me a brief synopsis of the changes?

some people on ovusoft were saying they changed something about the site and that quite a few members logged on today and were not able to participate in thier buddy groups?

You now need to join VIP to chat and post in the circles/boards. Luckily I was already VIP but it's so sad, so many of the people I have grown close to are not VIP members. :(

You can still go on the chat boards I just don't think they let you on during the day. I was on them last night, and have only been able to get on them at night. The boards are too busy during the day recently so I think they're only letting VIP members on them at that time.

I just tried logging to the circles and this was the message I got:

You are currently enjoying a free basic membership that we hope you find useful. This membership included access to our private message boards. As you may have noticed, recent usage of our message boards has skyrocketed. The message boards, however, shared a fixed budget for free features on the site. Due to the increased traffic on the circles we are no longer able to offer this feature for free.
Access to our message boards will now be a feature of our VIP membership. If you wish to continue to access the boards please purchase a VIP membership at your convenience.
Unfortunately to avoid any further disturbance to our service, this change takes place immediately. You can still access the buddy groups of which you were a member before this change for a couple days provided that the resources avalaible allow it.
Note: This does not affect your charting account at all. We are more than pleased to continue providing you with your basic membership at no charge.
