Vegas in the Summer
Has anyone been to Vegas during the summer months? this is one of the places DH and I are considering for our anniversary,which is July 1st- I really want to go, but some people are telling us it will be way too hot...
Any opinions on this?

DH and i went during the beginning of August. (100 degrees at midnight!)
it was crazy hot, as it will be for july.
but we had a great time anyway!
the best advice we got was to
get up early and then go back to the hotel before noon and spend time by the pool and then go out again later when the sun goes down.

We went 3 summers ago in July. I love the heat, but even I thought it was unbearable. You really could not even stay outside and walk anywhere because you would melt.

I was there once for July 4th and it was brutally hot and I love the heat. At one point it was 113 degrees...too hot to go in the pool (you would fry in a second). We had fun, but we mostly stayed indoors!

I went the end of July and I love the heat but this was beyond hot. It was about 110 degrees and when people tell you its a dry heat, it makes no difference. Seriously be prepared to bake!!!

I love the heat, but I am afraid we wont be able to do much outdoors because it is too unbearable...
Those who went, would you go during that time again???

Honestly, if I could go at another time than July I would. If July was the only time I could go for some reason I still would. I would not want to miss a Vegas trip all together. But I think at any other time you'd be able to do more outdoors. Also in July, the nighttime is just as hot as the day.

Love Vegas. We went for 2 nights on the way back from hawaii. It was July it was 100 at night it was hot but it's different then here... Its dry
