Coach bags

Since there was a recent posts about Coach bags, I'd thought I'd ask those of you who have them how they're holding up. I have mine for about 4 months now and the leather piping on the bottom is wearing a little. Has this happened to anyone else?

It's not enough to annoy me or send it back or anything but I was wondering if this is a normal thing because of wear and tear on the bag.

Thanks!

I have a Coach bag that I bought about 5-6 yrs ago and it's in mint condition. I haven't used it in years though. All the Coach bags I have are all in excellent shape.

I would recommend that you take your bag back to the store. Coach is a brand that stands behind what they sell. They will replace it for you.

I have some that are 8+ yrs old (although I haven't used them in a few years.) I beat the crap out my bags and I have to say, they held up pretty well.

Like SweetestofPeas said, bring it back to a store and they should repair it or replace it. They also clean your bags for you (well they used to...I'm assuming they still do this service.)

Re: Coach bags

The only problem is it was a gift and I don't have a receipt. Will that matter?

Re: Coach bags

I have had my attache for about 10 years & it still looks great & is barely worn. I have several bags for a few years, and they are all in great shape. Even my little change wallet I have had for 3 years & although it is "worn" it looks great IMO.

I am a fan of Coach b/c of their quailty & durability. It is one of the few "designer labels" I am loyal to.

Bring it back to the store. It should not matter if you have a reciept.

I have had my all-leather bag for a year now and it's held up very well. I use it every day too.

It wont matter if you have the receipt. Coach stands by their products regardless of where it came from (i.e. Coach store, department store, a gift).

I bought a Coach bag of ebay this past summer and I wasn't sure if it was real. After the advice of a few girls on here, I decided to go to the Coach store and ask if it was real.

I felt like a jerk going into the store and telling them I bought the bag on ebay, but they were good about it. They checked the bag over, and said it was def. a real Coach bag.

I left the store feeling good about my purchase and would probably buy from that store again. If they treated me like crap, I probably wouldn't step foot in the store again.

Re: Coach bags

i agree with taking it back... they can tell it's their product, whether or not you have a receipt. all of the coach bags i've had for years now, are in excellent shape - and i'm not one to pay particular attention to how i treat it. i think coach is worth the money because of their duribility.

Re: Coach bags

All of mine hold up very well, usually they get dirty before anything else...but I usually only use each for about 6 months
