My principal kept a secret
I am a sp ed middle school teacher and for the most part have had a great working relationship with my principal. A few years back I worked summer school for a few summers. I had the chance to meet many other teachers from the HS in the district including the Special Ed coordinator.I found out tonight from one of the teachers that I befriended that he, a few other teachers and the Special Ed coordinator personally went to my principal and begged her to let me go up to the high school to teach math (apparently I impressed them). I may have considered it. This was never brought to my attention by my principal. Occasionally when I would run into the coordinator he would say , "Ready to join me in the high school?"
Would this bother you? Or would you just shrug it off and move on?

I would take it as a compliment-she didn't want to lose you, but yes she should have mentioned it.
