Please vote for this remarkable young woman and help a good cause

Hello Friends,

I am Jennifer Zwilling, a 16 year old junior from Jericho High School in New York. As a 2007 BRICK Award Winner, (www.brickawards.org) I have been awarded $5,000 to be donated to The Tourette Syndrome Youth Ambassador Program, which I founded with help from my sister, Amanda and brother, Eric.
The BRICK Award "recognizes and supports social change-makers age 25 and under" (CNN). However, I now have the opportunity to become a Golden BRICK Award Winner, which would mean an additional $15,000 donation to the TS Youth Ambassador Program.

There are currently 12 (2007) BRICK Award Winners from the US and Canada. There are only 2 High School students from the US, and I am the only High School student to win from the tri-state area. Four of the amazing 12 Winners will become Golden BRICK Award Winners, based on an Internet voting system. To vote, one must log on to www.brickawards.com <http://www.brickawards.com/> from today until April 9th at 12 noon EST..

On April 12th the BRICK Awards will air nationally on the CW (channel 11 in the tri-state area) and the 4 Golden BRICK Award winners will be announced.

I would really appreciate help in raising awareness about TS and would appreciate any support you might be able to give my program. You can see information about my program at http://www.tsa-usa.org/People/kids/YouthAm.htm

This Peer Advocacy Program, which has since received national funding.(www.tsa-usa.org/People/kids/YouthAm.htm) aims to help children with Tourette Syndrome, a greatly misunderstood disorder, advocate for themselves within their peer groups, schools, and communities. Additionally, the program trains teens with and without TS to educate and train their generation about TS. To date, I have personally presented the program in approximately 50 schools, and over 100 teenagers have been trained to become Youth Ambassadors nationwide.

I now need support to obtain the Golden BRICK Award which means $15,000 to my Program. I need to spread the word and to encourage votes at www.BRICKAwards.org <http://www.brickawards.org/>

I am hoping that you might have an interest in helping raise awareness about TS and hopefully encourage support for the Golden BRICK Award.

I have also been awarded a "Kids of Distinction Award" for "Kids Helping Kids" by the Town of Oyster Bay in 2005 for this program, and was also awarded a Bronze Medallion as a Distinguished State Finalist in the Prudential Spirit of Community Award program this year.

Thank you for your time.

Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have.

If you could "pay this forward" and share this with others it will help raise awareness about TS and hopefully encourage votes for the award.

Thank you,

Jen Zwilling

I know, it's so hard, they are all doing amazing things!!!

But this is a LI girl. Also, my professor and good frined is presidend of the Tourette's society of long island (that's totally not what it's called, but I can't remember the name) and asked me to vote. We've also had some discussions on here about Tourette's.
