when did you start to feel...

Hi Ladies,

I know I've only been a mom for a week - but I am curious when you really felt you got the hang of it - and things started to become a little more routine.

I don't expect it to happen now - just curious as to when so I know what to expect.

You will get teh hang of things in a few months cuz you have to get a routine together and then it will get easier it takes a while to find the routine that works for you I know its not much of encouragement and doesn't sound so great but its the truth

no its ok - I DO want to hear the truth - and I know it will be a while, I guess I am just wondering how long a while is :)

I would say a while is equal to the most 3 months

a bit shy of 3 months.
Some of my old clothes fit or I was ok with buying new, my arms, back and abs were stronger to hold him in his infant seat, mastered getting it into carts, he was on a schedule (to bad the schedule still involves a 3am change and feeding), I knew what to have in the diaper bag and not run out of diapers, knew which bottles I liked, burping him was easier, knew which diapers and wipes worked best with him.
And it's crazy the time just flies and at this point I feel like "how did I ever do things without him?" "rather then I remember when!"
