8 weeks and then I dried up and had to give him Formula.
My husband deployed and I had to evacuate with my son, dog and cat by myself via our truck and couldn't feed him on demand or we never would have gotten anywhere and as soon as I suplemmented I started drying out. I was exclusively pumping from 2 weeks to 8 weeks so that made it tougher when we were leaving and when I didn't have a Dad around to lend a hand.
I felt guilty initally but I figure I did it 8 weeks longer then most people who never try it.

Emma 2 1/2 years, yes, I said YEARS

Jeremy is 8 months and still EBF.

Next week will be the six month mark for me. My goal is one year.

so far 3 months today actually and probably until Bryan drinks from a cup since he has started refusing a bottle! Ive only given about 4 oz of formula total because I wanted to pump to stock some up so I pumped a feeding instead.

I BF for 1 year. I started weaning him in December and in January I stopped all together.

I also worked FT so I was pumping 2 times a day at work for 10-15 minutes.

I didn't want to at all at first but my DH insisted so I tried it. It was weird at first, but it became just part of the routine. My goal was for 6 months, but then things were going so well, so I went until 1 year. I'm so glad I did.

My goal is six months (I'm almost at five now). I've been at home with him all these months so I've been able to BF without a problem but I'm returning to work in a couple weeks and it will be more difficult. I've stockpiled a lot of milk in the freezer for when I'm not here. I'll see how difficult it is when I return to work. After the six months, I'll keep BF as long as I can up to a year. I don't plan on BFing longer than that.

My original goal was 6-12 months. I made it just a week shy of 12 months. I plan to do the same this time.

I planned on a year - but got pregnant when she was 5 months (and subsequently miscarried) - when I got pregnant, I stopped making milk. I had enough frozen so that she still got just breast milk for another month - I had to go to formula at 6 months. Luckily for me, I am now 5 months pregnant and this time plan on the full year!

Claire is 9 months old now and we are still EBF. At 1 year I plan to stop pumping at work and give her whole milk during the day . As far as weaning her totally from the morning and night feedings, I will most likely wait till she seems ready.
