my DH doesn't travel but I think I can help Chat Icon

when I lived alone I would usually cook on Sunday and Monday night and then alternate Tuesday & Wednesday with the leftovers from those 2 meals. the rest of the week I would either do Chinese takeout, Italian takeout, make grilled cheese, etc.

When DH is traveling I usually make things that he doesn't like. The staple for me is baked macaroni (ziti with tomato sauce and cheddar cheese). Otherwise I'll make grilled cheese or get take out like Subway or something like that.

When I am home alone I usually do soup and a sandwich or salad...Sometimes a frozen dinner like Lean Cuisine.

that's me this week, too!

I usually try to eat food he doesn't like or is allergic to.

My neighborhood Thai restaurant is going to do well this week! Chat Icon

Re: if your DH travels for work....

My DH is actually travelling today & tomorrow. I will be at my mom's for dinner tonight but then tomorrow I will bake some chicken cutlets with some veggies. Then I have dinner set for the week!

Sometimes, I will do things like stir fry or anything mexican as my DH doesn't eat it!
