Re: if your DH travels for work....
my DH doesn't travel but I think I can help
when I lived alone I would usually cook on Sunday and Monday night and then alternate Tuesday & Wednesday with the leftovers from those 2 meals. the rest of the week I would either do Chinese takeout, Italian takeout, make grilled cheese, etc.

Re: if your DH travels for work....
When DH is traveling I usually make things that he doesn't like. The staple for me is baked macaroni (ziti with tomato sauce and cheddar cheese). Otherwise I'll make grilled cheese or get take out like Subway or something like that.

When I am home alone I usually do soup and a sandwich or salad...Sometimes a frozen dinner like Lean Cuisine.

Re: if your DH travels for work....
that's me this week, too!
I usually try to eat food he doesn't like or is allergic to.
My neighborhood Thai restaurant is going to do well this week!

Re: if your DH travels for work....
My DH is actually travelling today & tomorrow. I will be at my mom's for dinner tonight but then tomorrow I will bake some chicken cutlets with some veggies. Then I have dinner set for the week!
Sometimes, I will do things like stir fry or anything mexican as my DH doesn't eat it!

Re: if your DH travels for work....
I go out to my parents for the Good Steer. (It's all about the Cheese Dream Burger baby! )
or
I go out to my parents (or they come to me) and we order chinese food, since my DH refuses to eat chinese.
or
-Lean Cuisine Chicken Skillets and I'll add chicken and vegetables to it. (Easy and quick meal.) -Pasta (either w/sauce or I make Mac & Cheese) -frozen foods
or
I don't eat dinner at all.
