Panel interviews

On an interview panel of 6 people (my first one ever)...where I was the only applicant who does NOT work in the district, how many out of 6 questions do you think I would need to nail to get that second interview? Just curious because I feel like an idiot. Chat Icon

Re: Panel interviews

I had this last year..it was made up of 2 teachers, the principal and a parent. Although I feel that I nailed all of the questions...the chose the to hire people (there were 2-3 postions) who already worked in the school.

Just do your best...its a learning experience!Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Was this at Farmingdale by any chance? A good friend was recently on a panel interview there even though he is a leave replacement in the system.

A lot about literacy, what have I read lately, and some stuff about assessment. The questions weren't the hard part it was the nerves and the intimidation. Chat Icon
