Snow House in Hyannis (Cape Cod)
a beautiful victorian home- the msot delicious breakfast- across the street from the water- fireplace in the room-Clean-private bath- So romantic!

It's probably not helpful to you, but La Vieux Maison in Amboise, France.
We went to a really nice one in Hunter Mountain too, I think it was called the Rosewood.

My DH and I absolutely loved the Chiltern Inn in Bar Harbor, Maine.

We had the inn to ourselves, and there is a wonderful indoor pool, with a gorgeous fireplace. I've heard that since my husband and I were there five years ago, the ownership has changed.

I've been to a few really nice B&Bs:
Stonington, CT (close to Mystic) -Inn at Stonington
Block Island - Blue Dory Inn
My favorite was in Newport, RI - Francis Malbone House

Went to the Woolverton in January on Beth's recommendation. Stayed in a separate cottage w/ a jacuzzi. Had a nice stay.
