Name Opinion

What do you think of the name Peyton (for a girl). I love it and am trying to convince my husband of this name. I don't know what I'm having but if we have a girl, I'd love to use this name because it's unique.

My husband wants Morgan for a girl.

I have to agree with your DH I do like Morgan better then Peyton. Peyton is cute though. It is such a difficult decision. Good Luck!!!!

Morgan was our #1 girls name until my best friends mom siad that she'd be called "Morgue"

I like Peyton too, but nowadays with Peyton Manning the football player...either she or you might get some strange looks/opinions!

Morgan was on our list also for a girl. Our list went as such:
Alyson
Morgan
Madeline (my choice)
Lily
Camille (after a friend of ours)
Riley (I like this for some reason)
Mollie (I like it but my family asked me not to for personal reasons)

I really want something different for a girl and since my daughter's name is Delaney, we can't have another girl name that is blah so I thought that if we had a girl, Peyton would kind of "go" with Delaney.

I love both names so I'd be happy either way.

Its a very pretty name, but I admit when I first read it I thought a boys name.

Also, my DH wanted Morgan so badly for a girls name (we ended up having a boy), but every time I heard the name, I thought of Morgan Freeman. He was thinking more like Morgan Fairchild, but I just couldn't go with it.

That way you get to use both of the names?

i like them both ....my cousin is actually named Payton (girl) I actually tried to use it with my last daughter but FH would not let me . I like different names . I also like Morgan my daughter is Cassidy Morgan

I think with your daughter's name Delaney being so unique, pretty and different , Peyton would go really nicely if you have another girl

Sorry I love the name Morgan. Peyton is pretty, but I don't like the way most people pronounce it.

I wouldn't really use Peyton Morgan, sounds too similar to Peyton Manning.

I like Morgan Peyton.

I know of 3 Peytons - 1 is a girl, and they call her "PAY PAY" all the time, and the other 2 are boys.

It's your baby name it whatever you want. Don't worry what others might think or say. Inthe end it's YOUR child not there's!!!

I like Peyton, and actually know quite a few people who have recently used that name for their kids.

My friend's niece is named Peyton, so I always think of it as a girl's name.

I also like it better than Morgan (which I knew one in HS and it was a guy, so I've always though of it as a boy's name).

one of my best friend's daugter's name is peyton and i LOVE that little girl, she is hysterical and adorale and outgoing!!! i think peyton is much more unique tha morgan. i work w/ a lady named morgan and she smells and is so rude so i can't get that picture out of my mind, it skews the name because of the vision i associate w/ morgan.
