Strollers....

what kind do you have?
Side by side, or front/back.
I have the front/back and LOVE it, but just wondering if you prefer one of the other?
Pros..
Cons....

Re: Strollers....

I have the Peg Perego Twin Aria side by side. I LOVE it! One of the best features it weighs only 15 lbs. So it's light as a feather. It's so easy to manuever. When people who aren't used to pulling a stroller attempt to they are shocked on how easy & lite it is to use. (even with my daughters in it.)

My only problem is that some supermarkets don't have a wide enough entry into the pay areas. I usually have to walk around. Chat Icon
Though mind you it fits in 99% of doors.

Re: Strollers....

I have been thinking about this as well. Everyone in the city seems to have a side by side but that is hard when the aisles in most stores are so small. I was also thinking about the front back stroller but I have heard that they are too heavy.

Of course my friends are all thinking of the Peg-Perego duette that is 800.00Chat Icon

Re: Strollers....

I have the duoglider but I never use it. We bought a Mountain Buggy Urban Double and we've never looked backChat Icon I LOVE the way it handles and turns - it's side by side but, although all-terrain and big, it fits through doorways and aisles. The downside is that it is heavy BUT I like every other feature so much that I don't really care about the weight! I think the boys will especially like it when they are able to interact more next to one another.Chat Icon

I have a duoglider and I also have a side by side jeep one (pretty cheap at bru) that is good for walks, but I am not to crazy about the height of the handle bars and also it has a third handle & wheel in the middle. I'd like to get another, better side by side. Thinking of trying to get a used one from someone at the twins club.

I have the same one. I absolutely love it. I agree with everything Tracy said.
I also have a baby jogger, which I haven't used yet. I love it so far, my dh loves it because it has an adjustable handlebar. But it is really heavy, but the bright side, it I don't have to lift weights anymore, now I lift the stroller.Chat Icon

we have the frame for the infant carriers, but not the toddler seats. We decided not to get the seats, after speaking to someone about them. I love the side by side much more. the peg perego duette has a steering wheel, which seems fun, but I hated it, but DH loves it. So it has become his stroller.
The steering wheel/frame makes extremely wide turns, and it is difficult to manuever. It is like driving a car, you have to try to turn, back up, turn the wheel and back up again. It was annoying to me. I would definitely test drive it in the store first, go up and down aisles, turn, etc. BBB is the only one that carried it when I looked. the stroller had to go to the repair shop (free repairs at select places) twice, once I hit the wheel into something with it, and the the wire broke for the steering wheel to the front wheels. sorry for the harsh honesty.

I ahve the duglide and I was looking into the side by side but I wound up not getting one. I wanted it for Disney so that it would be easier to travel with etc, but we wound up just getting 2 single strollers, since there were no side by sides in my price range that had everything I wanted. The two strollers worked out great and we got these clips that clip them together and they worked great too.

I know, the side by sides are so pricey and some of them are not all that attractive looking as well.

Thanks Diane, I can't beleive how big they have gotten.

I also felt that I needed a tray on the front since the boys would eat off of them and put thier drinks on them, they use it all the time, and most of the side by side were lacking this. I also wanted somethin lightweight so I got 2 jeep strollers and we love them.

Re: Strollers....

i have the Aria Twin side by side. It is really light and i do love that. The downside is my girls fight with eachother pull eachother hair and the basket always drags on the floor. I was thinking of investing in a jogging type stroller. Any ideas? maybe ones that aren't so pricy? Anyone not using theirs and want to sell?
