Need help deciding on vacation!
We went to the travel agent today and are SO confused...
For about the same price we can either do
1. A hawaain cruise (negatives are that it would be a HECTIC and bust trip, but obviously amazing. Also.. DH is worried about taking extra time off for travel to/from hawaii.)
2. A princess cruise out of fort lauderdale... Jamaica, Cozymel, Grand Caymen
3. Aruba.. Occidental-all inclusive
HELP!!!!!!
ETA..
The aruba trip is all inclusive so it works out better money wise as we'd still have to pay for drinks and shore excursions on the cruises.

Aruba All Inclusive.
We did that for our honeymoon. It's so nice there, the beaches are gorgeous and it's so relaxing.

We're going back to Aruba for 2 weeks from Jun 30- July 14 as a delayed 2nd honeymoon/ anniversary trip
The weather is to die for, I love the restaurants but since you'd be all inclusive, it wouldnt matter.
I will be going to Aruba every year because of our timeshare and doubt I will ever get tired of it.
If you have any questions about the Island- let me know. Ive done massive research!

Aruba is a great choice, but Hawaii sounds fabulous.

If you are looking to RELAX, choose Aruba. If you want a jam packed trip with alot of excursions, do the Hawaii cruise. I did the cruise for our honeymoon and just got back from an all-inclusive in Aruba. I loved both, but what you pick will totally depend on what kind of a vacation you want.

Aruba is a great time especially if you just want to relax. Make sure you research occidental before you book it (try tripadvisor.com). We were supposed to stay there for our honeymoon (in Sept. '06) but ended up changing it because we heard they were still under construction. When we got there, we talked to people staying there and they were waking up to jack hammers.

i've never been to aruba but i will offer this:
hawaii is amazing but i'm not sure i would recommend doing it on a cruise - it's such a laid back place that i'd recommend having more time to explore it at your own pace - especially after flying 14 hours to get there (i think that's the direct flight time from newark). however, if cruising is the only way you'll ever go to hawaii i'd still consider it. it's just so beautiful there.
i did that same cruise itinerary on carnival and loved it. those are fun ports. i want to go back to grand cayman island just to swim in that crystal clear water again.
