Disciplining twins?
This is so hard to do. When tyring to get one to listen the other start doing the same thing wrong. They really know how to doeuble team me. Does anyone have any advise on how to handle this and also handle them laughing at me? Once one laughs the other joins in and egg each other on.
TIA

Oh goodness! I'm not at this stage yet but I think nrthshgrl's suggestion of separating them right away to tackle an issue is a good start. I'd love to hear what works in the future!!

Re: Disciplining twins?
I am right there with ya! Yesterday, Zachary took a block and started banging on my glass cabinet. I yelled "NO Zachary, don't do that!" So he walks away.
Hailey strolls over, picks up the block, all the while eyeing me, and proceeds to bang on the glass! So she got yelled at too. Its lilke she's testing me, almost like daring me to yell at her.
This goes on all the time, different situations, but you get what I mean.

I can't do that since it is not that do the same thing at the same time, they will wait until after the onther one gets into trouble for it, or when I am done with the time out. I just really don't know how to get the time outs to be effective. We went back and forth 6 times with Joey climbing on the chair and getting a one minute time out. During this Mattingly was fine up until the end then he started doing it and then Joey stopped when he decided to drink some milk.
