Toddler Drawings...??
i just looked at Sofia's drawings (crayon on paper of course)...and she's actually drawing smiley faces!!!!  i'm sitting here in shock looking at this!!!!! is that the norm, or am i just totally clueless??
eta: Sofia is 2 years old.

Wow thats great!! Anthony 2 1/2 years old and he just scribbles at can draw circles but thats it.

well, she's really 2 years 4 months. and at first i thought it was just circles and that Danielle was 'filling in' the faces, but i sat and watched her actually draw it!! then she gives me the crayon, and says "draw hair mommy"...

That is so cute. My son is almost 3 and I only recently saw a change in his drawing ability. Not too long ago he drew a slide and ladder that was pretty impressive. Maybe you have a gifted artist on your hands. Seriously. Maybe she just has an inborn ability.
