100 hours
Hi,
This is my first time on this board, since I'm only in school. Anyway, I need to complete a 100 hours of work with children in order to officially be accepted into the teaching program. As of right now, I've have 12 edcuation credits (Schooling in Diverse Communities, Childhood Literacy, Early Childhood Education) and I have also passed the LAST exam (haven't taken the ATS-W yet). I'm in school this summer until 11:35 and I'm looking for a job to start around 1:00. Do any of you know of any camps, or school progams I can try for?
Thanks, Kelly

Re: 100 hours
Hi and Welcome! Maybe you can try your local YMCA. You can also maybe try some local day care centers. They have various age groups especially in the summer. Hope that helped a bit. Good Luck!
