Please suggest a good brand of luggage
Looking for a new set of luggage.. has to be pretty big with 5 of us traveling.. I would like to get a whole set that isn't going to fall apart after our first trip

I like atlantic - I got it when I studied in China and berlin and it has held up great since 2000 - I took it to china, berlin, WDW, two cruises etc and several trips to MI when I was living out there. My parents also us atlantic and they take 3-4 trips a year to europe and on cruises and have had theirs since about 2000 as well and they love them.

we got some great soft pieces from samsonite at macy's. they were reasonable and they are still holding up really well after 5 or so years.
money magazine just tested some luggage this month

I like American Tourister. My parents have some AT old cases dating back to the 60s!!! We got a nice 4 piece set on sale and it was a good deal.

I have a nice Kenneth Cole set and Dh has a really good Swiss Army set. I bought it for him on overstock. com, they have some great deals on luggage and the prices vary from fairly cheap to kind of $$.

FIL is a pilot for United so he travels ALL the time and he uses Travel Pro... he says that and samsonite are the best...

I like Samsonite. We've taken ours all over the place.
I've also heard that Tumi is good but it's really expensive.
